DISCOVER SOKOL BLOSSER WINERY

When Susan Sokol and Bill Blosser planted their first vines in the Dundee Hills AVA of the Willamette Valley 1971, there was no wine industry in Oregon. Sokol Blosser has grown and prospered as a family-owned and run operation, and is proud to have a hand in developing and shaping Oregon’s now prominent wine industry.

Sokol Blosser creates wines of world class quality that are produced sustainably, mindful of the environment, and express the distinctive flavors of their hillside vineyards.

Meet Winemaker ROBIN HOWELL

After earning a degree in genetics, Robin Howell took an internship in a winery quality control lab…and never looked back. She traveled the globe, gaining experience with both large and small scale winemaking operations on the south island of New Zealand. She also explored winemaking in the South of France near the village of Limoux, producing a diversity of wines including bubbles (one of her favorite styles of wine). She joined Sokol Blosser in 2012 as an enologist and was elevated to Winemaker in 2023.

Meet Chef JOSH PODWILS

Chef Josh Podwils is a Bend, Oregon native with a passion for creating not just a meal, but an experience. His culinary journey includes time as a private chef and years spent transforming local restaurant kitchens, elevating both their menus and operations. Now proudly leading a kitchen that carries his name as Executive Chef, Josh brings refined technique, seasonal ingredients, and thoughtful presentation together to craft dishes that leave a lasting impression. Every plate he creates reflects his dedication to flavor, hospitality, and the art of storytelling through food.
