Discover Silver Oak Cellars

Silver Oak Cellars started with two friends and a handshake. Their vision: focus on one varietal, Cabernet Sauvignon. Age it exclusively in American oak. And make it worthy of cellaring for decades to come. Now a national icon, Silver Oak has fueled America’s love affair with Cabernet Sauvignon. After a fire destroyed their historic Oakville winery, the owners sized the opportunity to rebuild a new, state-of-the-art winery. Even though Silver Oak has marked its 50th year, the winery believes, “Our best wines are still ahead of us.”

TIm Duncan, son of co-founder Ray Duncan, has been a driving force behind the culture and success of Silver Oak & Twomey Cellars. Today, along with brother and fellow owner David Duncan, Tim develops business strategy for both wineries and oversees domestic and international sales.
