Join us for an educational wine tasting of Domaine Serene’s Oregon and Burgundy wines wine Domaine’s Alex Hedges. Enjoy cheese and charcuterie and take in the glorious views at Lookout Lodge, a premier gathering space just 4 minutes from Shevlin Park. Tasting Notes is a perfect start to your Saturday evening. Our event ends at 5:30pm, so you can head out for dinner!

Tickets are $75/person and include five wine tastings.

Domaine Serene holds seven vineyard estates in three different AVAs: Dundee Hills, Yamhill-Carlton, and Eola-Amity Hills. Planted in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, these vineyards produce award-winning wines. Domaine Serene scored an upset at the 2016 Decanter World Wine Awards, when one of their Oregon Pinots beat out a top Burgundy.

Domaine Serene acquired 10 hectares (and a chateau!) in the heart of Burgundy in 2025. Their estate in Côte de Beaune is divided between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and 40% of the parcels are Premiers Crus.

ALEX HEDGES of DOMAINE SERENE

Alex Hedges holds the position of Marquee Account Manager for Evenstad Estates, the parent company of Domaine Serene, Cheateau De La Cree, Domaine Evenstad, Maison Evenstad, Chevalier De La Cree, and Rockblock Cellars. Alex joined Domaine Serene in 2020 as a Sommelier and enjoys sharing details of each wine’s characteristics, production and history—all the better to heighten your enjoyment and appreciate the nuances of each glass!

Alex comes from a family that has been farming in Washington state for 6 generations. He was first exposed to the world of wine after planting grapevines at his aunt and uncle’s vineyards in the Red Mountain AVA of Washington State in the early 90s.
