Meet Executive Chef Ryan Eisert

A native of Reno, Nevada, Ryan Eisert has held the role of Chef de Cuisine at two well-known west coast restaurants: Tasty ‘n Alder in Portland and Bos Taurus in Bend.  A graduate of the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, Ryan has worked at several amazing properties, including the Ritz Carlton in Lake Tahoe.

Ryan, wife Kayla, and their young family have taken to the Central Oregon lifestyle and spend their free time biking and hiking. Their two children, Forest and Juniper, "are little foodies like their parents," according to Ryan. "Forest’s favorite food is seafood. Juniper is my little sous chef and always by my side when I'm cooking at home."

Discover Silverado Vineyards

A gem in the heart of Stags Leap District, Silverado Vineyards gets its name from the historic Silverado Vineyard and the old mining town that looks over Napa Valley. Silverado Vineyards was one of the first to plant Cabernet in Stags Leap in the 1960s. Winemaker Allison Rodriguez is only the third winemaker in Silverado’s history, and brings years of experience working in diverse growing regions. From the estate, the winery produces and bottles single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sangiovese, as well as a variety of other small production wines.

Joining us at the Winemaker Dinner: Pamela Ford, Foley Family Wines’ Director of Sales Planning, and the resident expert on Silverado Vineyards. Pamela is passionate about wine, and she’ll provide the perfect introduction to this storied Napa winery.
